NATURE AND STARS AT THE CASTLE
Themed guided tours in collaboration with the Astronomical Observatory of the Autonomous Region of Aosta Valley.

The Museum hosts guided tours led by two experts: researchers from the Museum and the Observatory will move together through the castle’s rooms, weaving together geology, mineralogy, and astrophysics in a journey that connects the Earth to the universe.
Rates:
🎟️ Full price: €15
🎟️ Reduced: €10 (young people aged 6–25 and groups of at least 15 people)
🎟️ Family: €30 (2 adults + 1 or 2 children aged 6–18)
🎟️ Free: children aged 0–5 and people with disabilities accompanied by a caregiver

Visitors joining the Museum’s evening tours at 5:30 p.m., 6:00 p.m., or 6:30 p.m. will enjoy a tasting of products from the featured producer, included in the admission ticket.

DRAWING WORKSHOPS
Natural history drawing workshops for children, adults, and families.
Saturday, August 8 – 5:30–7:30 p.m. “Mang-otta: Our Marmot Goes Japanese!”
✏️ Workshop for children aged 9 and over. During the activity, participants will learn the main “tricks” for creating a Manga-style version of the Museum’s most important specimen!
Saturday, August 22 – 8:30–10:30 p.m. “The Night of the Saint-Pierre Castle Little Owl”
🦉 Natural history illustration workshop for beginner adults of all ages. Starting from simple sketches, participants will work together to draw and create an evocative illustration inspired by the colors of the Saint-Pierre night and one of its most fascinating “inhabitants”: the little owl.
Sunday, September 20 – 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. “Dig! Dig! The Invisible City of the Ants”
🐜 Comic drawing workshop for families. We will draw, color, and ink, just like real comic artists, a short story told through panels about the life and work of ants inside a tree trunk.
Saturday, September 26 – 3:00–5:00 p.m. “Find Me Among the White Snow!”
❄️ Workshop for children aged 9 and over. Starting from simple geometric shapes, we will draw and color some of the most important and charming examples of animal camouflage in the snowy landscapes of the Aosta Valley, featured in the Museum’s collections.

Friday, July 24, 2026 – What a Wonderful World
🎺 Felice Reggio on trumpet and Donatella Chiabrera on vocals will take you on a musical journey through the world’s most iconic cities, from New Orleans to Paris, from Rio de Janeiro to Rome. Jazz, bossa nova, film scores, and lounge music featuring the great composers of the 20th century, from Gershwin to Morricone. Reggio is regarded as one of Italy’s leading interpreters of Chet Baker’s style and has collaborated with Ray Charles, Quincy Jones, and Ennio Morricone.
Friday, August 7, 2026 – Archidea
🎻 The Archidea string quartet presents a concert designed for a broad audience: a program combining great masterpieces of classical music with the most famous film soundtracks, as well as pop and contemporary pieces reinterpreted in exclusive arrangements for strings.
Friday, August 21, 2026 – Nandha Blues
🎸 Founded by guitarist Max Arrigo, Nandha Blues is an international power trio blending the roots of Deep South American blues with rock and jazz influences. Active since 2010, they have performed at major blues clubs and festivals across Europe and the United States, and in 2017 they were the only European band invited to the Hot Springs Blues Festival in Arkansas.
Three concerts, three dates, three completely different artistic experiences, all set against the enchanting backdrop of Saint-Pierre Castle. A journey through jazz, classical music, and blues, celebrating the region’s cultural heritage through unique artistic experiences.
Concerts begin at 9:00 p.m. Admission is included in the ticket price for the 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. visits.
